According to the recent key figure report from Swedish Association of Road Transport Companies (Sveriges Åkeriföretag), median turnover in transport companies in the construction and civil engineering segments increased by about 4.8% in 2016. This is 5.7 percentage points higher than the median turnover in the transport sector as whole according to the report. It is expected that the positive trend in this transport segment will not continue as construction volumes are expected to decrease in coming years.
