Sweden: Södra launches fossil-free transport in Mönsterås harbour
Woodnet, 05 Oct 2017, online:-
The port of the Swedish forestry company Södra in Mönsterås has become fossil-free in October. All vehicles and cranes have started to use hydrogenated vegetable oil (HVO) instead of fossil fuels. This is a part of the goal of fossil-free production by 2020 and fossil-free transport by 2030. The transition started already in the spring of 2017.
