Belgium: New law to promote competition in postal market
L'Echo, 17 Jul 2017, online:-
On 14 July 2017, the Belgian federal government approved a draft law on mail services intended to address criticism from the European Commission. The new law will remove obstacles to the entry of new companies in the Belgian postal market, including the requirement to cover all of Belgium in five years. It will also cover social dumping and confirm the status of mail company bpost as the universal service provider.
