Denmark: EC approves plan to support investments by rail-freight companies
European Commission, 11 Jul 2017, online:-
The European Commission (EC) has given its approval for a Danish plan to provide support to rail-freight companies for investments into on-board traffic management equipment. The plan is expected to improve the interoperability of railway systems in the EU. There will be a budget of DKK 55mn (EUR 7.40mn USD 8.43mn) for this plan. Rail-freight operators will need new on-board traffic management equipment as a result of the deployment from 2018 to 2023 of the European Rail Traffic Management System in Denmark.
