Global: Focus group for LNG bunkering adds three ports
Straits Times (The), 11 Jul 2017, online:-
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), the ports of Marseille, Vancouver and Ningbo-Zhoushan have joined an international focus group on liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunkering. The expansion aims to strengthen efforts towards facilitating the uptake of LNG as marine fuel, as well as bolster the network of LNG bunker-ready ports. The international focus group was first established in 2014 by the MPA, Port of Rotterdam, Port of Zeebrugge and the Antwerp Port Authority. It now consists of 11 ports and maritime administrations, including Ulsan Port Authority from South Korea and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan.
