The purpose of the Finnish Association of Purchasing and Logistics (LOGY) is to develop procedures for purchasing of materials and services and to promote physical logistics and the professional skills of employees in logistics and puchasing for the benefit of the Finnish economy and society.

The objectives are to improve logistics and purchasing and increase the internal and external integration of purchasing and logistics, to develop the utilization of computer processing and data interchange in logistics and purchasing and to present Finnish purchasing and logistics services.

The association ownes the education organization LOGY Competence Oy and publishes the Logistiikka-magazine.
