Supply chains have changed a lot during last year. The coronavirus itself has caused distraction to supply chains. There has been among other things shortage of raw materials and containers, price increase etc. There is no return back to old way of supply chain operations. In this seminar we will hear what are the future trends and what direction the companies are heading in their supply chain management.

Juuso Jankama is the CEO of Airfaas. He is an experienced Supply Chain expert and a business advisor with focus on Digital Supply Chain Transformation, Supply Chain Strategy and Process Automation. In his previous career he has worked in Oracle as a Supply Chain Management Advisor helping Nordic companies modernize their supply chains. Juuso also runs his own consulting company which focuses on helping start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs growing their business. His prior employers include also such global companies as Parker Hannifin, Gardner Denver and Basware.
Janne Lautanala is an accomplished digital business leader with more than 20 years of professional experience in leading organizations like Accenture, Avanade, Wärtsilä and Nokia. Currently he works as the Chief Ecosystem and Technology Officer at Fintraffic.
Throughout his career, Janne has successfully established and grown innovation programs, delivered projects and established operational capabilities in Europe and the Asia-Pacific regions. He has also been involved with several major digital transformation projects in high tech, manufacturing, government, retail and telecommunication industries. Janne owns a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Majoring in telecommunications technology) from Aalto University.
Heli Simola works as a senior economist at the Bank of Finland Institute for Emerging Economies (BOFIT). Her work focuses on economies of Russia and China. Her main field of research are issues related to international trade and global value chains. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Tampere
Dr. Sini Laari is a postdoctoral researcher in Operations and Supply Chain Management in University of Turku. She delivers lectures and supervises theses at bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. Sini’s main research interest is sustainability in supply chains. After receiving her doctorate in 2016, Sini worked at the Finnish Defence Research Agency investigating future SCM trends. She is a member of the research group conducting Finland State of Logistics reports since 2010 and has been also involved in projects dealing with, for example, circular economy and security of supply.
