The Walloon government has said that a budget of EUR 500mn will be allocated to the Walloon river network for structural maintenance and investments from 2017 to 2019. A total of EUR 75mn will come from the Infrastructure Plan 2016-2019 while EUR 200mn will come from the Walloon Public Service, EUR 100mn from Walloon financing agency Sofico and EUR 150mn from European project RTE-T Seine-Escaut.
