Estonia: Port of Tallinn could force speeding up delivery of new vessels
ERR Uudised, 28 Sep 2016, online:-
The Estonian Port of Tallinn subsidiary TS Laevad would take over the operating of the coastal passenger shipping lines, starting from 1 October 2016. The delivery of commissioned four new vessels, under building in Poland and Turkey would be delayed, however. According to the Port of Tallinn, the delay in delivery would give the Port of Tallinn a leverage to force the shipyards to speed up the deliveries. According to the Port of Tallinn, in the event of delay in delivery beyond the permitted contractual limits, it was entitled to terminate the contract.
