Cdiscount plans to deliver packages under five kilos by drone to delivery points in the Bordeaux area within four years. The retailer is developing the project in partnership with Air Marine, and both companies have affirmed that all technical problems have been resolved. The next step is to define regulations for the practice, as no space dedicated to drones exists. Currently 20 delivery points have been selected for the new method of delivery, and this could be extended to 40.
