Deutsche Verkehrs-Zeitung, 27 Oct 2017, online:-
The German Ministry of Transport has confirmed that the draft law for amending the regulation on the use of mega trucks (so-called gigaliners, which can be 25.25m long) in Germany is currently being assessed by regional governments and industry associations. The planned changes would entail the inclusion of more roads where the use of gigaliners will be allowed. According to the draft, gigaliners may be used in the future also in the federal states of North-Rhine Westphalia, Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate.
