Dutch logistics properties are of a relatively high quality compared with those in Belgium, Germany and Poland, according to the Dutch sector organisation Nederland Distributieland. The costs are higher, but the quality is higher too with a good physical infrastructure, good labour regulations and beneficial tax regulations. The organisation warns that more space needs to be made available for large distribution centres to enable the combination of various activities at one distribution centre and the focus on lower salaries is to be changed to better use of employees and IT solutions to improve the productivity.
