Netherlands: Passenger Terminal Amsterdam is to be moved

The Dutch local council of Amsterdam has decided to move the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam to make it easier to develop a bridge between Java Island and Amsterdam-Noord. An alternative location for the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam is yet to be decided upon although considered are Coenhaven, Achtersluispolder, Nieuwe Houthaven and Noorder IJplas. Passenger Terminal Amsterdam saw 134 cruise vessels in 2015 with 280,000 tourists that spent some EUR 100mn (USD 111.95mn).
