Norway: Frontline's loss after tax increased to USD 19.20mn in Q2 2017

Financial results of Bermuda-based oil tanker shipping company Frontline, controlled by Norwegian businessman John Fredriksen, show that company's loss after tax increased from USD 14.50mn (EUR 12.16mn) in Q2 2016 to USD 19.20mn in Q2 2017. Loss before tax increased from USD 14.50mn to USD 19.20mn. Analysts expected la oss before and after tax to amount to USD 17mn. Operating loss decreased from USD 37mn to USD 1.40mn, while operating loss of USD 1mn was predicted. Frontline reported that there will not be quarterly dividends. A dividend of USD 0.01 was expected.
