Poland: Rail organisations urge minister to reinstate intermodal concessions
Rynek Kolejowy, 15 Dec 2016, online:-
A letter has been written by representatives of rail freight organisations in Poland to the Infrastructure Minister Andrzej Adamczyk, asking that he should take steps to reinstate the concessions for intermodal transport which PKP PLK has withdrawn from 11-31 December 2016. For its part, PKP PLK has stated that it has run out of money for the year, but the industry representatives point out that withdrawing the concessions for part of the year makes nonsense of deals which have been signed. The organisations are also asking for stable and increasing support to be provided for intermodal transport in years to come.
