The Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) has submitted a proposal for the new national plan for transport system between 2018 to 2029. A total of SEK 333.50bn will be invested to develop the transport system in order to enable heavier vehicles on more roads. Lena Erixon, Director General at the Swedish Transport Administration, says that the upgrading of roads to enable 74 tonne vehicles on BK 4 roads should be launched as it would strengthen Swedish business community.
