Swedish maritime sector newspaper Svensk Sjöfartstidning has reported that liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuels are becoming more predominant in the Swedish shipping industry. Shipping companies Furetank and Älvtank have ordered one new LNG-fulled tanker each since the last report. These two and Thun Tankers also ordered a total of four LNG vessels in 2015. Company UECC has recently received new LNG vessel Auto Energy which will be officially launched on 7 February 2017. Terntank has also received vessel Tern Sea.
