Hiski Haukkala
Director, Finnish Institute of International Affairs
Hiski Haukkala is the Director of the Finnish Institute of International Affairs. He is also an Adjunct Professor of International Politics at Tampere University and a Senior Researcher at RAND Europe. Before joining FIIA, Haukkala served as Professor of International Politics at Tampere University. Until spring 2024, he was Head of Cabinet and Chief of Staff to the President of the Republic of Finland.
Previously, he has worked at the Universities of Turku and Tampere, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Finnish Institute of International Affairs, and as a visiting researcher at the University of Oxford, the Wilson Center in Washington D.C., the Natolin campus of the College of Europe in Warsaw, the EU Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) in Paris, the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in London, and the University of Stirling in Scotland.
He has authored numerous books and articles on EU foreign policy, Russia, and international relations.
At the LOGY Conference, Haukkala will provide an overview of the global political situation and its impact on global supply chains.

Joona Honka
Head of AI & Analytics, Berner
Joona Honka is an AI leader who has made Berner a forerunner in utilizing artificial intelligence. He has turned strategy into action and created a culture where AI is part of everyday work for all Berner employees. According to internal studies, AI already saves 6,300 working hours per month at Berner – approximately 40 person-years annually – and job satisfaction has increased significantly as a result.
Joona Honka has been selected as one of the three finalists in the Visionary AI Leader of the Year 2025 competition. The award is given to a leader who has demonstrated exceptional vision in leveraging AI and has advanced its strategic use within their organization, industry and society.

Mari Nenonen has over 20 years of experience in supply chain management and logistics, particularly within branded consumer goods. She has a strong track record of developing and optimizing operations across multiple markets. One of the key learnings is that project success is achieved when data, processes and people truly work together.
In her LOGY Conference presentation, Mari will describe how modern intralogistics and supply chains are built in an omnichannel environment where data, process development and people’s capabilities are tightly integrated. The session will examine how warehousing and material flow processes are continuously developed in a rapidly changing retail and e-commerce environment, how data and forecasting support control and availability, how omnichannel reshapes the role of the warehouse and work organization, and how technology, people and processes can be effectively aligned. The presentation offers a practical and inspiring view of how developing supply chains and intralogistics strengthens company resilience, growth and customer experience.
Oktay Nuri
Managing Director, DHL Express Finland
Oktay Nuri is the Managing Director of DHL Express Finland, a global leader in international express air transportation, and a member of the DHL Express Europe management team. He has nearly 20 years of experience in logistics and express delivery and is particularly passionate about the sustainable development of express operations. At DHL, this is pursued by increasing the share of electric vehicles, designing new facilities to be carbon neutral in operation, and reducing aviation emissions through the use of sustainable aviation fuels.
In his presentation, Oktay Nuri will discuss how DHL Express builds reliability and competitiveness by integrating people, technology and infrastructure. The session will also highlight the role of the new Helsinki-Vantaa logistics center as an enabler of sustainable growth and how such investments support supply chain resilience, emission reduction targets and customer experience.
Tero Ojanperä
Technology and AI Influencer
Tero Ojanperä is the founder of Silo AI and a key influencer in the Finnish technology and AI landscape. He is also known as a Professor of Practice at Aalto University and has previously served as Chairman of the Board of Silo AI. He is widely involved in board roles within the technology sector.
In his presentation, Ojanperä will describe how AI and data-driven decision-making are transforming leadership, trust and organizational culture. The session will explore how purpose, judgment and human interaction are preserved and strengthened as intelligent systems guide an increasing share of business operations.

Valtteri Peltomäki

Valtteri Peltomäki has over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity and strategic business development. He has previously served as Interim CEO, Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Customer Experience Officer at Nixu Plc. Peltomäki is Vice Chair of Kyberala ry and has been actively involved in developing Finland’s cybersecurity ecosystem. His expertise includes critical infrastructure protection, risk management and national preparedness.
In his presentation, Valtteri Peltomäki will present key findings from DNV Cyber’s cyber resilience study to be published in February 2026: where the biggest resilience gaps are among Finnish companies, how they differ from other Nordic countries, and what this means for supply chain management. The session provides a timely, research-based and practical perspective on the future of supply chain security.
Rudi Rok

Rudi Rok is an internationally recognized Finnish vocal virtuoso, known for boundary-breaking projects that challenge the limits of the human voice. He is celebrated for his versatility and especially for his ability to imitate sounds. His career began as a beatboxer and stand-up comedian, and he has since expanded his repertoire in many directions. His talent for sound imitation has attracted widespread attention and international acclaim.
Rudi Rok will host the LOGY Conference and also perform at the evening event concluding the seminar day.

Jyri Vilko
Chair, LOGY ry
Jyri Vilko is a highly experienced supply chain and logistics expert with over 15 years of experience. He serves as Associate Professor of Logistics at LUT University and Director of the Master’s Programme in Innovation and Logistics.
Throughout his career, Jyri has worked extensively in research and teaching. He has led several national and international RDI projects and held various roles in the logistics field. He has published in numerous respected international journals, and his research has been recognized at international forums.
