France: Courir braces itself for the internationalisation of its e-commerce
Logistiques Magazine, 02 Feb 2017, online:-
French sports shoe retail brand Courir is preparing the international development of its e-commerce activity. It intends to use new delivery services, which will be provided by Colissimo for Europe and by Global-e for the rest of the world. Courir will send its orders to Roissy for its dealings with the latter operator. This internationalisation will take place once the logistics of the brand will have completed their evolution, mainly by ensuring that customers can make an e-reservation. Courir is also to set up order collection points in the coming weeks with Mondial Relay. All the Courir e-commerce business is processed from a single warehouse in Châteauroux, while its logistics is managed externally by ID Logistics. The Courir website was the biggest store of the brand in 2016 in terms of sales, while the Courir e-commerce turnover doubled.
