DB Cargo launches a rail freight service from the DP World London Gateway rail terminal in Stanford-le-Hope to Yiwu, a city in China's Zhejiang province, on 10 April 2017. The first rail freight service from the UK to China is scheduled to arrive at its destination on 27 April. DB Cargo said the 7,500-mile journey passing through seven countries will be faster than by sea and cheaper than by air.
