Tervetuloa mukaan webinaariin, joka on tarkoitettu kaikille LOGYn jäsenille. Tapahtuman järjestää LOGY Savo-Karjalan alue.
Welcome to webinar, which is for all LOGY members. This event will be in English.
The transformative potential of landscape design and designing with timber and other biogenic materials in the logistics industry, exemplified through the Danish fashion company BESTSELLERs logistics centre in Holland, that Henning Larsen has designed .
Timber continues to prove its value in sustainable construction, and while scalable solutions may start small, they can be an innovative test ground to push our decarbonization agenda (e.g. 250m² extension at Denmark’s Feldballe School, exemplified the potential of straw panels and timber cladding). Pushing the limits, this same biogenic technique was scaled up to the 155,000m² Logistics Center West in the Netherlands – demonstrating the far-reaching possibilities of innovative timber-based design.
In this webinar, Simon Ingvartsen, Design Director and Architect MAA from Henning Larsen, will present and discuss the transformative potential of using biogenic materials and designing for biodiversity in the logistics industry.
