Danish transport, logistics and energy company A.P. Underlying profit amounted to USD 248mn, with an improvement by USD 290mn in Transport & Logistics and a decline by USD 15mn in Energy. Søren Skou, CEO of A.P. Møller - Mærsk, said that market fundamentals stayed positive, as the global container volume increased by 5%. The company predicts an underlying profit of around USD 1bn in Transport & Logistics for FY 2017.
