Corporate vans in the Netherlands travelled year-on-year 4.5% farther to 17.3bn kilometres in 2016 compared with 2015, according to the Dutch statistics bureau CBS. The increase is mainly due to a 3.6% increase in the number of vans and the distance travelled per van increased on average by 1% to 18,300km per van. Some 70% of the growth in kilometres travelled comes from heavy vans of between 2,001 and 3,000kg.
