The number of trucks transport on trains on the Brenner route, between Italy and Austria, increased from 114,300 to 121,100 between the nine months to September 2016 and the same period in 2017. A total of four freight trains for truck transport are operated daily on the rail link between Wörgl, Austria, and Trento, Italy.
