In Germany 57% of shipping companies believe that the outsourcing of logistics activities will increase in coming years, according to a survey by the logistics consulting firm Miebach. This is the lowest rate among countries in Europe and America. Some 86% of firms in the sector in Germany approve either totally or partially the outsourcing of transport activities. On the other hand, two thirds of companies in Germany and in Europe believe that management outsourcing is not suitable. Furthermore, some 40% of companies declared to have insourced logistics processes previously outsourced.
