The Swedish Forest Industries Federation (Skogsindustrierna) has welcomed the government's proposal to cancel the investigation on the planned kilometre tax on trucks in Sweden. According to the federation, the tax would be a disadvantage to competition. The government should instead stimulate vehicle development, renewable fuels, and electric roads, argues transport manager Karolina Boholm.
