Figures from IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute (IVL Svenska Miljöinstitutet) show that the share of companies that pay extra for environment-friendly transports has increased from 3% in 2013 to 21% in 2017. A total of 23.7% in trade organisation Sveriges Åkeriföretag expressed willingness to pay extra already in 2014. A survey by Fair Transport further shows that one third of companies have experienced this request also from their contactors.
