About the Forum

The Logistics and Supply Chain Management Forum (LSCM Forum) is an annual academic event that brings together researchers and practitioners to advance knowledge at the intersection of logistics, supply chain management, and procurement. The Forum’s mission is to foster rigorous, relevant, and collaborative scholarship that speaks meaningfully to the challenges facing organisations, policymakers, and society.

The LSCM Forum is organised by LOGY — Suomen Osto- ja Logistiikkayhdistys ry — Finland’s largest association for procurement and logistics professionals. It is held immediately prior to the LOGY Conference, giving participants the unique opportunity to engage with both cutting-edge research and high-profile industry discourse within a single visit to Helsinki.

The Forum is governed by an Organising Committee and a Scientific Committee drawn from leading Nordic and international institutions. The Scientific Committee is responsible for the double-blind peer review process, which ensures the integrity and quality of all accepted contributions.

The LSCM Forum was established to address a persistent gap between academic research and industry practice in the logistics and supply chain field. The 2025 Forum, held at Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki, explored collaborative and sustainable logistics. The 2026 Forum took up the theme of Sustainability Enabled Resilience, generating significant interest from both academia and industry. The 2027 edition continues this trajectory, turning its focus to the intelligent design of future supply chains.
