An effective Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process is vital for every company’s decision-making.

  • When functioning properly, S&OP forms the backbone of a company’s operations. If forecasts and production are misaligned, achieving cost efficiency becomes a challenge.

Toni Sirviö
Director Head of Planning

Toni Sirviö has held various positions at Konecranes since 2005. In his roles within supply chain management, his areas of responsibility have included project management, global order handling, pricing, as well as various IT/ERP projects and development initiatives. Since 2010, he has been responsible for the development of planning functions and operational Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). In his current role as Head of Planning Functions, Toni is responsible for ensuring the balance between demand and supply and for the continuous development of operations in line with the company’s strategy.

Before joining Konecranes, Toni worked at Tellabs Inc., a manufacturer of telecommunications equipment, where he was responsible within the Customer Logistics organization for both tactical and operational demand and production planning.

Toni also serves as the Chairman of the Board of the Finnish Production Control Society (STO Ry, www.sto-ry.com
