Germany: Association records some 6,500 complaints over parcel deliveries
Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, 12 Dec 2016, online:-
The consumer association of the German federal state of North-Rhine Westphalia has recorded some 6,500 complaints on its online platform Paket-Ärger, which has been launched on purpose in December 2015. Some 45% of the complaints were due to the fact that customers had to collect their parcels from shops or parcel stations despite receiving an email or a notice on their smartphone saying that the parcel had been sent to their home address.
