Deutsche Bahn's (DB) transport of goods to China is growing strongly. The company believes to have transported over 40,000 containers in 2016, which is significantly more than in 2015. The company's goal is to reach around 100,000 containers a year by 2020 and DB plans to benefit from Chinas infrastructure investment of EUR 300bn (USD 336.96bn) in 2017. (The first version of the abstract suggested that there was an increase of more than 40,000 containers from 2015 to 2016)
