According to official statistics, an increase of 8.7% in mass of every sort of freight transported were recorded in Poland in the first half of 2017. The rises were seen in the road, rail and sea transport segments, with only pipeline transport seeing a drop. In the second half of the year, growth is predicted by Trans Polonia, OT Logistics and PKP Cargo, with Lotos' and Orlen's rail firms also likely to see increases in freight volumes. The CEO of PKP Cargo believes that demand for freight transport will not diminish, thanks in part to the rapid growth of the Polish economy.
