Germany: Media-Markt begins using robots for deliveries
Finanznachrichten, 29 Sep 2016, online:-
German electronics retailer Media Markt has begun testing the use of knee-high robots for deliveries. By the end of 2016, the robots are expected to deliver to around 1,000 households in the city. During the test phase, the robots can only operate in daylight and must be accompanied by a companion. The EUR 15 (USD 16.85) delivery cost will initially come with a voucher with the eventual aim of reducing the price.
