The Dutch Port of Rotterdam and parties active at the port are in disagreements about the long delays with container transhipment services. The inland shipping companies complain about the strict planning at the container terminals while the container terminals complain that shipping companies too often fail to adhere to their allocated time slots for loading and unloading. The negotiations in the sector have lead to a new plan that is to improve the situation. Details have not been revealed, but 20 Dutch and foreign organisation were present.
