Poland: Warehouse stock grows by over 10% in H1

Colliers International has reported that 793,000 m2 of warehouse space was delivered on the Polish market during the first half of 2017, resulting in the country's warehouse space stock growing by over 10%, when compared to the corresponding time of the previous year, to more than 12mn m2. Warehouse developers were the most active in Warsaw, Torun and Poznan, where they delivered 115,800 m2, 113,000 m2 and 11,800 m2 of warehouse space, respectively. The largest warehouse projects completed over the past two quarters included built-to-suit schemes developed for Kaufland (45,600 m2) and Carrefour (38,000 m2) in Bydgoszcz, the expansion of P3 Blonie (47,500 m2) and the expansion of Prologis Park Piotrkow II (42,100 m2).
