Dutch engineering consultancy Boskalis has been awarded a contract for the construction of a 1,100m long quay at Stockholm Norvik Port in Sweden. The quay will be between 10.5m and 16.5m deep and Boskalis will use pre-made concrete elements for parts of this. The contract has a value of some EUR 60mn (USD 68.80mn). Works will start in autumn 2017 and are to be completed in spring 2020.
