  • Jesse Rep, Director Sustainability, Packaging Materials, Stora Enso

    Having a solid background in business by leading the UPM Raflatac sales organization in Central Europe, with a strong knowledge on sustainable fiber based materials as Circular solutions for some of the pressing global environmental challenges we face. Study background in Environmental economics (MSc) and International Business (BA), worked for UPM-Kymmene in several global sustainability roles and currently Director Sustainability Packaging Materials at Stora Enso.
  • Jyri Arponen, Senior Lead, Sitra

    Jyri is a passionate sustainable business professional with strong experience in business development, market communication and financing as well as accelerating company growth and internationalization. Now he works as a Senior Lead in Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra running programs to turn the inefficiencies in current linear value chains into business value and to improve performance of the companies with data driven circular business models. He has executed several national studies, business programs and strategies in cleantech and in bio and circular economy with global partners. Prior to joining Sitra 2009 as a Business Director he held the position of CEO in a marketing and advertising agency for eight years and was a member of the board in a global network of advertising agencies working with branding and digitalization strategies. He has held various positions in the Ministry of Trade and Industry and in European Networks focusing working with SMEs in different business and innovation ecosystems.
  • Edward Blomstedt, CEO, Combi Works

    Edward Blomstedt is CEO and one of the founders of family owned Combi Works, a manufacturing service that handles wide customer production scopes of even manufacturing lines or fully assembled tractors. All in a scalable manufacturing network with flexible capacity. He is also founder of AirFaas, a prize winning digital start-up. Edward has an M.Sc. in Industrial Management and Mechanical Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology (now Aalto University). His passion is enabling a smarter revolution in manufacturing for a greener future. He was voted Young Entrepreneur of the Year in Finland 2010.
