Evonik Technology & Infrastructure, a division of German chemicals company Evonik, has chosen to use the DHL Resilience360 risk management solution developed by German logistics company DHL for its logistics activities, especially for its road transportation activities. The solution will be used to analyse Evonik's logistics routes in real time to detect whether problems could arise on a route used by any transportation method, which will allow Evonik to use a different method of transportation or to stop transport before an accident spot. The platform will also connect the global distribution and production network with information about natural disasters, socio-political and other risks. The use of the DHL Resilience360 is another part of Evonik digitising its supply chain.
