Germany: FAR JV launches delivery option at airport's online marketplace
The Moodie Davitt Report, 06 Mar 2017, online:-
Germany-based travel retailer, Gebr Heinemann and German transport company Fraport's new joint venture (JV), Frankfurt Airport Retail (FAR), has announced the launch of a new home delivery service. This service enables the travellers to order goods from the Heinemann Duty Free & Travel Value range through the airport's online marketplace and have them delivered to an address in Germany. In the introductory stages, the delivery will be free of shipping costs. This service can be used by the travellers with a valid air ticket from Frankfurt to an EU destination. Customers can order as often as they like, 90 days before departure. Heinemann will offer this delivery service in third-party webshops, executed by its logistic department and processed by its IT systems.
