Sjöfarts Tidningen, 23 Mar 2017, online:-
The Swedish Union for Service and Communications Employees (Seko) and the Swedish Shipowners' Employer Association (Sjöfartens Arbetsgivareförbund, SARF) have entered into an agreement which stipulates that the allowed share of temporary employees in ship crews with so called TAP contracts will be increased from 50% to 75%. The agreement will apply as of 1 April 2017 and also includes reduced wages for TAP employees. The agreement does not apply for passenger traffic, tug boats and vessels that mainly operate within Sweden.
