France: Dachser tests small electric vehicle in Paris
L'Officiel des Transporteurs, 05 May 2017, p.13:-
BIL (base intelligente de logisitique), a small electric vehicle created by Libner, is being tested in Paris by Dachser France for three months starting 18 April 2017. The vehicle, which won best innovation at the last Paris International Week of Transport and Logistics, is 2.5 metres long and three metres tall. It can transport palettes up to 1200 x 1200 mm and 600 kg and can function ten hours at a time, or travel about 120 km. Joseph Libner considers a test run in La Rochelle in March a success, and Dachser has already conceived Frappa, a refrigerated electric vehicle which would deliver beverages. The restrictions present in city centres are the most difficult challenge for Dachser.
