German wagon hire and rail logistics company VTG had a turnover of EUR 248.30mn (USD 273.11mn) in the first quarter of 2017. This was the same in the same period in 2016. The EBITDA was EUR 76.6mn, down from EUR 84.6mn. The company's profit was EUR 12.7mn which was up from EUR 11.8mn. The company invested EUR 31.7mn compared to EUR 51.6mn in 2016. VTG forecasts a slight increase in both turnover and EBITDA in the whole of 2017.
