UK: Ocado to trial self-driving delivery truck in London

Online supermarket Ocado has launched a trial of a self-driving delivery truck. The company has teamed up with Oxford-based Oxbotica to trial its technology. The Ocado 'CargoPod' can hold eight grocery boxes, customers have to leave their home to collect their groceries from the vehicle. The trial will run for 10 days in Woolwich, south-east London. Ocado hopes to use self-driving delivery trucks as part of its technology offering to other online supermarkets.
